Multi-active capsule · green tea catechins with green coffee, L-carnitine and chromium

Specifications

Product type and buildA blended multi-active capsule, not a single-extract product. The formula below is the house default; actives, ratios and daily capsule count are built to the buyer's brief.
Default fill per capsuleGreen tea extract 250 mg, green coffee bean extract 100 mg, L-carnitine L-tartrate 50 mg, plus chromium and piperine to target, in a 500 mg size 0 (0.67 mL) fill.
Green tea componentCamellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze, Theaceae, unfermented leaf. Grades from 50% polyphenols / 30% EGCG to 98% polyphenols / 50% EGCG; decaffeinated grades available.
EGCG chemistry(-)-Epigallocatechin-3-gallate, C22H18O11, MW 458.4, CAS 989-51-5. Assayed by HPLC against a reference standard and reported separately from total catechins.
EU catechin dosage limitRegulation (EU) 2022/2340 requires a daily portion to contain less than 800 mg EGCG. Formulas are dosed backwards from that ceiling so the labelled maximum portion stays under it.
EU catechin label dutiesThe same Regulation requires EGCG per portion on-pack plus warnings against use with other green tea products, on an empty stomach, in pregnancy or lactation, and under 18 years.
Green coffee componentCoffea canephora Pierre ex A.Froehner seed, unroasted, at 45-50% total chlorogenic acids by HPLC. Marker 5-caffeoylquinic acid, C16H18O9, MW 354.31, CAS 327-97-9.
Minor activesL-carnitine L-tartrate 2:1 salt, C18H36N2O12, MW 472.5, CAS 36687-82-8; chromium picolinate, C18H12CrN3O6, MW 418.3, CAS 14639-25-9; piperine, C17H19NO3, CAS 94-62-2.
Caffeine controlCaffeine, C8H10N4O2, MW 194.19, CAS 58-08-2, comes from the extracts and optionally as caffeine anhydrous. Measured on the finished capsule, declared per capsule and portion.
Capsule shell and diet statusHypromellose (HPMC) as standard, giving a vegan and vegetarian article with no animal input. Bovine gelatin on request, which is neither. Porcine gelatin is not used.
Allergen declarationNo milk, egg, soy, fish, crustacean, nut, peanut, sesame or gluten input; maltodextrin is maize-derived. L-carnitine is synthetic or fermentation-derived, never dairy-sourced.
Purity and microbiologyLead NMT 3.0 ppm, arsenic NMT 1.0 ppm, cadmium NMT 1.0 ppm, mercury NMT 0.1 ppm. Total plate count NMT 10,000 cfu/g, yeast and mould NMT 500 cfu/g, pathogens absent.
Shelf life and storage24 months below 25 C at NMT 60% RH, sealed and away from light. Catechins oxidise on exposure, so opaque primary packaging and desiccant are standard on this line.
HS code21069099 (India ITC-HS) as a finished food supplement in capsules. Not 13021919, which covers the bulk extract before blending and encapsulation.
This record is written as a green tea complex capsule rather than under the 'fat-burner' wording carried on the source sheet. Fat-burning is an efficacy claim, there is no authorised health claim for green tea catechins in the EU, and printing that phrase on a B2B page hands the buyer a compliance problem before the first purchase order is raised. What a contract manufacturer actually sells is a composition, so the composition is what is described. The base is unfermented Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze leaf extract, worked alongside unroasted green coffee bean extract, L-carnitine L-tartrate, chromium picolinate and a small piperine adjunct from black pepper. It is a blend, not a variant of the single-active green tea capsule, and it is specified and priced as one. The single most important constraint on this product is Regulation (EU) 2022/2340, which amended Annex III of Regulation (EC) No 1925/2006. A daily portion must contain less than 800 mg of (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate, and green tea extracts containing EGCG are otherwise placed under Union scrutiny, with only aqueous extracts comparable in composition to a traditional green tea infusion excluded. Labels must state the EGCG content per portion and the maximum daily portion, and must carry warnings that the product should not be taken alongside other green tea products on the same day, should not be taken by pregnant or lactating women or anyone under 18, and should not be taken on an empty stomach. Every formula Thovek builds is dosed backwards from that ceiling, and the EGCG figure per capsule and per labelled daily portion is stated on the batch certificate so the buyer can print an accurate on-pack declaration rather than back-calculating one. Caffeine arrives from two directions here - naturally in the tea and green coffee extracts, and as added caffeine anhydrous where the brief asks for it - so total caffeine is measured on the finished capsule rather than estimated from the inputs, and declared per capsule and per daily portion. Decaffeinated green tea and low-caffeine green coffee grades are available where a market caps caffeine or requires a warning above a threshold. The default hypromellose shell keeps the article vegan and vegetarian with no bovine or porcine input; the bovine gelatin option does not, and the two must never share a label. There is no milk, egg, soy, fish, crustacean, nut, peanut, sesame or gluten input in the formula, and the L-carnitine L-tartrate is the synthetic or fermentation-derived material, never a dairy-sourced one. Thovek makes no metabolic or weight claim; the brand owner substantiates its own label for its own market.

Packaging: Alu-alu blisters of 10, 15 or 30 capsules in printed mono-cartons, or 60, 90 and 120-count opaque HDPE jars with induction seal and twin desiccant sachets. Catechins oxidise under light and moisture, so clear jars are not offered on this line and an optional nitrogen flush is available for long transits. Bulk unpacked capsules ship in 25 kg double-lined HDPE drums inside an opaque outer. Everything is cartoned, shrink-wrapped, strapped and palletised on heat-treated pallets, batch-coded at every level.
