Garcinia Cambogia Capsules

Garcinia Cambogia Capsules are the finished dosage form of the fruit-rind extract, not the bulk powder sold by the drum. Each capsule carries a measured fill of Garcinia gummi-gutta (L.) N.Robson rind extract standardised to 50% or 60% (-)-hydroxycitric acid by HPLC, so the brand owner works from a fixed milligram figure per capsule rather than a percentage on a drum label. Hydroxycitric acid is a defined organic acid, C6H8O8, MW 208.12, CAS 6205-14-7, and the assay has to be run by HPLC on the free acid; titration reads total organic acid and flatters the result, which is the single most common way a garcinia specification is misread across a purchase order. The fill can be the water-soluble potassium-calcium double salt, which handles and dissolves cleanly, or the free-acid and lactone grade where the buyer's own monograph calls for it. The build is where a capsule programme is won or lost. The default shell is hypromellose, which makes the finished article vegan, vegetarian and free of any bovine or porcine input; a bovine gelatin shell is available on request and is neither vegan nor vegetarian, so the two versions must never share a label or a batch record. Excipients are microcrystalline cellulose, maize maltodextrin, colloidal silicon dioxide and vegetable-source magnesium stearate. The maltodextrin is maize, not wheat, so there is no gluten input, and there is no milk, egg, soy, fish, crustacean, nut, peanut or sesame material anywhere in the formula. Standard strengths are 500 mg of extract in a size 0 shell (0.67 mL) and 750 mg in a size 00 (0.95 mL); other strengths, capsule counts, shell colours and print are built to brief.
