Three ways projects start
Brands come to us at different stages, and we work from wherever you are.
- You have a formulation. The recipe and specification are settled. We source to it, produce it and pack it.
- You have a brief. You know the category, the target market and roughly where the product needs to land on price. We propose a formulation from our own ingredient range and refine it with you until it works commercially.
- You have a product already. You need a second source, a reformulation, or the same product rebuilt to satisfy a different market's requirements.
The ingredient range behind the service
Most contract manufacturers buy every input from traders. We formulate from a catalogue we specify and source ourselves — vitamins, minerals and trace elements, amino acids, proteins, omega and essential fatty acids, probiotics and prebiotics, standardized herbal and Ayurvedic extracts, antioxidants, digestive enzymes and more, across nineteen categories.
That changes three practical things. There are fewer intermediaries between the raw material and your batch. Traceability runs to each input, not just to the finished blend. And one company is accountable from raw material through to finished pack, which matters most on the day something needs explaining.
How a project runs
- Brief and feasibility. You tell us the product, the market and the volume. We come back on whether it can be made as described, and flag anything in the formulation that will cause a regulatory or stability problem later.
- Formulation and costing. We put up a formulation with the ingredient grades named, and cost it. Where a cheaper grade would work, we say so; where it would not, we say that too.
- Sample and specification. You receive a sample with its Certificate of Analysis, and we agree the finished-product specification in writing before anything is scaled.
- Pilot batch. A production-scale trial confirms the formulation behaves on real equipment. Blend uniformity, flow and fill weight problems surface here rather than in your first commercial run.
- Production and testing. Manufacture against the agreed specification, with batch testing to the parameters we settled at step three.
- Documentation and dispatch. The batch ships with its full document set, and we retain samples so any later question can be investigated against the actual material.
What we need from you
The projects that run smoothly are the ones where these arrive early:
- The destination market. This decides more than anything else on the list — permitted ingredients, permitted levels, labelling and which documents matter.
- Your specification, if you have one. We would rather quote against your parameters than a generic grade.
- Label artwork and claims. You make the claims under your own regulatory regime; we need to see them to ensure the formulation supports them.
- Pack format and volumes, including your realistic reorder pattern rather than only the first order.
What you receive with every batch
- Certificate of Analysis against the agreed finished-product specification.
- Full batch traceability to the ingredient lots that went into it.
- The export document set for your market.
- Retained samples held against the product's shelf life.
If you would rather manufacture yourself
The ingredient range is available on its own, in bulk, with the same specifications and documentation. Plenty of our customers buy inputs from us and produce in their own facility — the two sides of the business are separate, and you are welcome to use either.
