Specifications

FormatFinished hard capsule, size 0 or 00. Standard fill about 500 mg of dry-blended actives and excipients per capsule; per-capsule loading is set to the buyer's label.
Capsule shellHPMC (hypromellose) as standard: vegan, no bovine or porcine input, halal and kosher compatible. Bovine gelatin shell on request - specify at order, it ends the vegan claim.
Ashwagandha componentWithania somnifera (L.) Dunal, Solanaceae; root-only extract standardised to 2.5% or 5% total withanolides. State the assay - gravimetric and HPLC figures are not interchangeable.
Fenugreek componentTrigonella foenum-graecum L., Fabaceae; seed extract standardised on total furostanolic saponins by gravimetric assay. 4-hydroxyisoleucine grades available on specification.
Mineral activesZinc and magnesium as bisglycinate or citrate. US RDA reference: zinc 11 mg men, 8 mg women, UL 40 mg; magnesium 420 mg men, 320 mg women.
Magnesium dosing ceilingUS tolerable upper intake level for supplemental magnesium is 350 mg/day; EFSA sets 250 mg/day. Dose per capsule against the tighter of the two for your target market.
Vitamin activesVitamin B6 as pyridoxine hydrochloride; vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol, CAS 67-97-0, C27H44O, 384.65 g/mol, 1 IU = 0.025 microgram.
Vitamin D3 originLanolin-derived D3 is from sheep wool: vegetarian but NOT vegan. Lichen-derived D3 is vegan and costs more. Specify at order - it changes the finished label.
Authorised nutrient claimsEU Reg. 432/2012 gives zinc 'maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood' and vitamin B6 'regulation of hormonal activity', on significant-source conditions.
Botanical claim statusNo EU health claim is authorised for Withania somnifera or Trigonella foenum-graecum; botanical claims stay on hold. India, US and Gulf rules differ - claims are the brand's job.
Allergen statusContains FENUGREEK, a legume; allergy is documented, including in peanut- and chickpea-allergic people. Declare it. No milk, egg, soy, fish, crustacean, gluten or nut input.
ExcipientsMicrocrystalline cellulose diluent, vegetable-sourced magnesium stearate and colloidal silicon dioxide as flow agents. Confirm the stearate source if a vegan claim is made.
Testing and shelf lifePesticides, aflatoxins, heavy metals and micro per lot. Made without WADA-prohibited substances. 24 months in unopened original packaging, cool, dry, out of sunlight.
HS code21069099 (India ITC-HS) - other food preparations n.e.s., the residual under 2106.90. NOT the sheet's 21061000. See the classification note.
This is a finished dosage form rather than a raw material: a hard capsule carrying a dry-blended matrix of two standardised botanicals and four nutrient actives. The botanical side is root-only ashwagandha extract, Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal (Solanaceae), standardised to 2.5% or 5% total withanolides, together with fenugreek seed extract, Trigonella foenum-graecum L. (Fabaceae), standardised on total furostanolic saponins or, where the buyer prefers, on 4-hydroxyisoleucine. Insist on the assay method in writing for both: gravimetric and HPLC withanolide figures are not interchangeable, and a 5% gravimetric result and a 5% HPLC result describe materially different goods. Root-only material is specified deliberately, because leaf and root-plus-leaf extracts carry a different withanolide profile and meet different market acceptance. The nutrient side is where the defensible label copy comes from. Zinc is supplied as bisglycinate or citrate and magnesium the same, with vitamin B6 as pyridoxine hydrochloride and vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol (CAS 67-97-0, C27H44O, 384.65 g/mol, 1 IU = 0.025 microgram). Under EU Regulation 432/2012 zinc carries the authorised function claim 'contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood' and vitamin B6 carries 'contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity', both conditional on the finished product being a significant source of the nutrient. Magnesium carries authorised claims on normal muscle function, normal protein synthesis and normal energy-yielding metabolism. No health claim is authorised in the EU for either botanical - botanical claims remain on hold - and India, the US and the Gulf states each handle this differently, so claim strategy is the brand owner's responsibility and has to be set market by market. Dose the magnesium against the tighter ceiling in your target market: the US tolerable upper intake level for supplemental magnesium is 350 mg/day, EFSA's is 250 mg/day. Two declarations decide whether this product can carry the label a buyer wants, and both are set at order, not afterwards. First, the capsule shell: HPMC as standard, which is vegan, vegetarian and free of bovine and porcine input, with a bovine gelatin shell available on request - a gelatin shell ends any vegan claim and brings a bovine origin declaration with it. Second, the vitamin D3: lanolin-derived cholecalciferol comes from sheep wool and is vegetarian but not vegan, while lichen-derived cholecalciferol is vegan and costs more. Beyond those, fenugreek must be declared plainly on downstream labels - it is a legume, and allergy to it is documented, including in people allergic to peanut or chickpea. There is no milk, egg, soy, fish, crustacean, gluten or tree nut input in the standard build.
