Glutamine Recovery Powder is Thovek's instantised post-training base, built around fermentation-derived L-glutamine (CAS 56-85-9) at 60 % of the blend and completed with branched-chain amino acids at the conventional 2:1:1 ratio — L-leucine 10 %, L-isoleucine 5 %, L-valine 5 % — plus sodium, potassium and magnesium supplied as citrates and a small lecithin instantising fraction. It is a different article from Thovek's single-ingredient L-glutamine: that one is a separate chemically defined compound sold on a monograph assay, whereas this is a finished blend sold on its declared composition, and the two classify under different tariff headings. Every amino acid in the blend is produced by microbial fermentation on a plant carbohydrate feedstock, with no hair, feather or other animal hydrolysate anywhere in the chain, so the powder is genuinely vegan and free from milk, egg, soy, fish, crustacean, gluten and tree nuts. Sunflower lecithin is used as the instantising aid precisely so that the blend carries no soy declaration; soy lecithin is available on request, but the allergen then has to be declared on the finished pack and the buyer's label copy changes accordingly. As standard the powder is agglomerated to roughly 95 % through 30 mesh and disperses in cold water without lumping, which is what stick-pack and shaker formats require. At a 10 g serve the standard grade delivers 6.0 g L-glutamine, 2.0 g of 2:1:1 BCAA, 164 mg sodium, 217 mg potassium and 81 mg magnesium, all calculated from the salts used and confirmed against each lot certificate. Ratios are open: the glutamine share can be lifted, the BCAA fraction re-cut, or the electrolyte load rebalanced to a buyer's own specification, and flavour, acidulant and sweetener systems can be incorporated at the blend stage or left to the buyer's own filling line. Thovek supplies specification, certificate of analysis, allergen and GMO statements, vegan and non-animal origin declarations, MSDS, and kosher or halal certification where the destination market asks for it. Nutrition and health claims on the finished pack remain the brand owner's responsibility under its own market's rules.
