This is a finished dosage form, not a bulk powder. Each capsule carries two standardised Indian-origin botanical extracts. The first is a gum-resin extract of Boswellia serrata Roxb. ex Colebr. (Burseraceae), the tree known in Indian trade as salai guggul, standardised to not less than 65% total boswellic acids by the titrimetric method, with 3-acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid (AKBA, CAS 67416-61-9, C32H48O5, MW 512.7) typically running 3 to 10% by HPLC. The second is a rhizome extract of Curcuma longa L. (Zingiberaceae) standardised to not less than 95% total curcuminoids by HPLC, made up of curcumin (CAS 458-37-7, C21H20O6, MW 368.38) at roughly 70 to 80%, demethoxycurcumin at 15 to 20% and bisdemethoxycurcumin at 2 to 6%. Curcumin is the same molecule permitted as the food colour E100, so the fill has a strong yellow-orange cast that will stain light-coloured tooling and packaging if not managed. Fill weight and ratio are set by the buyer. A common size 0 configuration is 300 mg boswellia extract plus 200 mg turmeric extract, with 5 mg of black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) fruit extract at 95% piperine (CAS 94-62-2, C17H19NO3, MW 285.34) as an optional co-ingredient. Microcrystalline cellulose, silicon dioxide and vegetable-source magnesium stearate are used only as needed for flow and weight control. The default shell is HPMC (hypromellose), which keeps the finished article vegan; bovine gelatin shells are available on request and shift the article to non-vegan, non-vegetarian status, so the shell decision must be locked before artwork is printed. Both extracts are solvent-extracted, so residual solvents are controlled to ICH Q3C Class 2 and Class 3 limits, and each batch is released against identity, assay, weight variation, disintegration, heavy metals and microbiological testing. The product is sold into the joint and mobility category of the supplement market. Thovek describes composition only; the structure-function or nutrition claims that appear on the retail label are the brand owner's responsibility and must be justified under the rules of the destination market. Supplement status, permitted daily intake of each botanical, and any required warnings differ by country, and both Boswellia serrata and Curcuma longa are subject to FSSAI's Schedule IV and Schedule VI botanical lists and daily-use limits for material sold in India. Supply is available as bulk loose capsules for a buyer's own bottling line, or fully packed as bottles or blisters under a private label.
