Multi-Enzyme Digestive Blend

Multi-Enzyme Digestive Blend

Multi-activity food-enzyme complex · capsules and tablets

Multi-enzyme digestive complex in capsule or tablet form — protease, amylase, lipase, lactase, cellulase and more, built to your activity table. Vegan or animal-source options.

Specifications

Dosage formTwo-piece capsule (HPMC, pullulan or gelatin) or compressed tablet, uncoated, film-coated or delayed-release, to the approved formula
Typical activitiesProtease, amylase, lipase, lactase, cellulase, hemicellulase, alpha-galactosidase; bromelain, papain, invertase, phytase, pectinase on request
Enzyme sourcesAspergillus, Trichoderma, Rhizopus and Bacillus fermentation for microbial blends; plant bromelain and papain; animal pancreatin and ox bile only if specified
Activity declarationEach activity stated separately on the CoA in its own assay units; units are assay-defined, are not interchangeable and are never summed into one figure
Lactase cautionAspergillus oryzae lactase is dairy-free; Kluyveromyces lactis lactase is produced on dairy substrate and carries a milk-allergen declaration
Capsule shell originHPMC and pullulan shells are vegan; gelatin shells are bovine, porcine or fish. Shell origin is fixed in the specification before the first batch.
Allergen statusAll-microbial vegan builds carry no added milk, egg, fish, crustacean, soy, peanut, tree nut, sesame or gluten; every build ships a lot-specific allergen statement
Diet and certificationVegan, vegetarian, halal and kosher achievable only with an all-microbial or plant enzyme set and a non-gelatin shell; certification issued on request
ExcipientsMicrocrystalline cellulose, dicalcium phosphate, vegetable-source magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide; lactose-free and allergen-free excipient sets available
Stability handlingOverages set from stability data, low-temperature blending and compression, controlled-humidity rooms; enzymes lose activity with heat and moisture
Packing formatsAlu-alu or alu-PVDC blister (10s/15s/30s); 30/60/90/120-count HDPE bottle with induction seal and desiccant; bulk capsules or tablets in lined drums
Quality systemsGMP manufacture; FSSAI licensed under FSS (Health Supplements & Nutraceuticals) Regulations 2016; HACCP / ISO 22000 available
TestingPer-activity enzyme assay, weight variation, hardness, friability, disintegration, moisture, heavy metals, microbiology, allergen verification where declared

A multi-enzyme digestive blend is a formulation, not a commodity: its identity is the activity table, not a single CAS number. A typical Thovek build carries protease for peptide bonds, amylase for starch and dextrins, lipase for triglycerides, lactase for lactose, cellulase and hemicellulase for plant cell-wall polysaccharides, and alpha-galactosidase for the raffinose-family oligosaccharides in pulses and brassicas. Bromelain, papain, invertase, phytase and pectinase are added where the brief calls for them. Every activity is declared separately on the certificate of analysis in its own assay units, because enzyme units are assay-defined, are not interchangeable between activities, and cannot be added together into a single headline figure — a point worth settling with your regulatory team before label copy is drafted. Source selection is the commercial decision that matters most, and it is an allergen and diet decision before it is a technical one. An all-microbial blend from Aspergillus, Trichoderma, Rhizopus and Bacillus fermentation is vegan, and paired with an HPMC capsule gives a fully plant-based finished unit. Blends built on pancreatin, trypsin, pepsin, pancrelipase or ox bile are porcine or bovine and cannot be sold as vegetarian, vegan, halal or kosher. Bromelain (Ananas comosus) and papain (Carica papaya) are plant enzymes but still need naming on the label. Lactase deserves particular attention: preparations from Aspergillus oryzae are dairy-free, whereas lactase from Kluyveromyces lactis is produced on a dairy substrate and carries a milk-allergen declaration. Capsule shells are equally load-bearing — gelatin is bovine, porcine or fish, and only HPMC or pullulan shells are vegan. Thovek fixes source organism, capsule shell and allergen status in writing before the first batch is compounded. Manufacture is under GMP with FSSAI licensing under the Food Safety and Standards (Health Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Food for Special Dietary Use...) Regulations 2016, with HACCP and ISO 22000 systems available. Enzymes are heat- and moisture-sensitive proteins, so overages are set from real stability data rather than rules of thumb, low-temperature blending and compression are used, and alu-alu blisters or desiccated HDPE bottles are the default pack. Supply is either bulk capsules and tablets in drums for your own packing line, or fully private-labelled in your artwork with market-specific label copy. Thovek describes composition and food-technology function only and makes no therapeutic or disease claim; claim substantiation and product registration in the destination market remain the buyer's responsibility.
