This is the Ayurvedic multi-botanical build in Thovek's men's range, distinct from the two-botanical men's sports capsule that pairs ashwagandha and fenugreek with minerals. The lead extract is gokshura, Tribulus terrestris L. (Zygophyllaceae), supplied from fruit or from aerial parts as fixed at order and declared on the certificate of analysis, with aerial parts generally carrying higher protodioscin than fruit. Total steroidal saponins are offered at 40%, 45%, 60%, 90% or 95% by gravimetry or UV, commonly expressed as diosgenin, across furostanol and spirostanol saponins including protodioscin, prototribestin, dioscin and tribestin. Insist on the analyte and the method in writing, because total saponins and protodioscin are different analytes measured by different methods: a 40% total saponin extract is emphatically not a 40% protodioscin extract, and this is where most disputed shipments in this category start. Identity control matters just as much, since the chromatographic profile is checked against authenticated Tribulus reference material and screened for fenugreek saponin spiking and for Pedalium murex substitution - and the fenugreek point is an allergen point as well as a purity point, because undeclared fenugreek in a Tribulus extract puts a legume into a pack that does not declare one. Around that core sit the classic Indian modules. Safed musli, Chlorophytum borivilianum Santapau & R.R.Fern. (Asparagaceae), is supplied as dried root tubers extracted to 10%, 20% or 40% total saponins by gravimetry, carrying spirostane- and furostane-type saponins including the borivilianosides and chlorophytosides. Kaunch beej, Mucuna pruriens (L.) DC. (Fabaceae), is dehulled mature seed standardised on L-Dopa - CAS 59-92-7, C9H11NO4, molecular weight 197.19 - at 10%, 15%, 20% or 40% by HPLC-UV against a levodopa reference standard, plant-derived only with no synthetic levodopa blended in. That module carries a market restriction that has to be settled before the order is placed rather than after: Mucuna is not permitted in food supplements in Italy, and RIVM in the Netherlands issued a 2024 caution on Mucuna seed supplements, so the importer must confirm local status. Ashwagandha is specified root-only, Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal, at 2.5% or 5% total withanolides, and the assay method has to be named because gravimetric and HPLC withanolide figures are not interchangeable. Fenugreek, Trigonella foenum-graecum L., is available on furostanolic saponins or on 4-hydroxyisoleucine, and it must be declared plainly downstream - it is a legume with documented IgE cross-reactivity in people allergic to peanut and chickpea. Two commercial realities govern this category. First, adulteration: undeclared synthetic PDE-5 drugs - sildenafil, tadalafil and their analogues - are a recurrent problem in male-vitality products, so every lot is screened by LC-MS/MS and the result is reported on the certificate.
