This is a finished multi-ingredient capsule, filled and packed to the buyer's own formula, and it is a different product from either of the raw materials inside it or from the women's blend that sits alongside it in the range. The usual backbone is L-carnitine L-tartrate (CAS 36687-82-8, MW 472.48), a 2:1 salt of L-carnitine with L-tartaric acid that assays at roughly 66 to 70% as L-carnitine, so the tartrate weight has to be grossed up when a buyer writes a carnitine claim on the panel. Around it sit zinc, normally as zinc citrate dihydrate (CAS 5990-32-9, about 31% elemental zinc) or the anhydrous tribasic salt (CAS 546-46-3, about 34%); selenium as L-selenomethionine (CAS 3211-76-5, C5H11NO2Se, MW 196.11, about 40% Se) or as selenium-enriched yeast; and coenzyme Q10 as ubiquinone (CAS 303-98-0, C59H90O4, MW 863.34) at not less than 98% assay, with reduced ubiquinol (CAS 992-78-9) available where a buyer prefers it. The antioxidant and methylation fraction is specified per formula and typically draws on d-alpha-tocopheryl acetate (CAS 58-95-7, C31H52O3), lycopene (CAS 502-65-8, C40H56) from tomato oleoresin, N-acetyl-L-cysteine (CAS 616-91-1), and folate supplied either as L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium (CAS 151533-22-1) or as folic acid, which are not interchangeable on a label and must be named explicitly. Where the buyer wants a botanical, Withania somnifera root extract is offered on generic HPLC withanolide standardisation at 2.5%, 5% or 10% grades. Origin and allergen positions are clean and worth stating: the standard build is vegan on an HPMC shell, the L-carnitine is synthetic rather than meat-derived, and the coenzyme Q10 is produced by yeast fermentation rather than from marine sources, so the pack can carry a vegan, non-bovine and non-marine declaration. For orientation on what a buyer may lawfully print, EU Regulation (EU) No 432/2012 authorises 'zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction' and 'selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis' as nutrient function claims, while botanical claims remain on hold in the EU and carry no authorised wording. Claim wording, dose caps and warning statements in the destination market remain the buyer's responsibility.
