Multivitamin + Multimineral Capsules

Thovek fills two-piece hard capsules with combined vitamin and mineral blends for supplement brands, private-label programmes and importers. The capsule route suits a multivitamin-multimineral blend better than compression in several respects: the powder is not subjected to compaction forces that can degrade sensitive vitamins, hygroscopic and reactive mineral salts can be kept apart until the point of fill, no coating step is needed, and the shell itself masks the taste of B-vitamins and mineral salts. Capsules are normally filled in size 00, 0 or 1, polished after filling, and band-sealed or liquid-sealed where an extra moisture barrier is wanted. A typical blend combines the thirteen common vitamins — A, D3, E, K, C, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and B12 — with the minerals used in general multimineral practice: calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, iodine, selenium, copper, manganese, chromium and molybdenum. The salt form of each mineral is chosen with you and is the single biggest driver of both cost and elemental load per capsule: oxides and carbonates give a high elemental yield in a small fill weight, while citrates, gluconates and amino acid chelates such as bisglycinates carry a lower elemental percentage and therefore take more room in the capsule. Permitted vitamin and mineral sources for Indian-market product are drawn from Schedule I of the Food Safety and Standards (Health Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Food for Special Dietary Use, Food for Special Medical Purpose, Functional Food and Novel Food) Regulations, 2016, with the daily dose held at or below one RDA. Export formulations are set against the destination reference values — EU NRVs under Annex XIII of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, or US Daily Values for a Supplement Facts panel under 21 CFR 101.36. Shells are supplied as bovine gelatin or, for vegetarian, vegan and many halal and kosher programmes, as HPMC. Batches are released on a certificate of analysis covering vitamin assay by HPLC or UV, elemental mineral content by ICP-MS or AAS, fill weight variation, disintegration, heavy metals and microbiological limits. Importer documentation includes the GMP certificate, FSSAI manufacturing licence, certificate of free sale, export health certificate, allergen and non-GMO declarations, a BSE/TSE-free statement for gelatin shells, halal or kosher certification where required, stability data and a certificate of origin. Custom formulation, own-brand artwork and market-specific label copy are all part of the service, and first orders and new SKUs can be run at sensible batch sizes rather than pallet-scale minimums.
