This is supplied as a formulated premix of separately standardised fruit extracts, not as a single extract, and the distinction runs through the specification, the testing and the tariff treatment. The default build is grape seed (Vitis vinifera L.), pomegranate rind (Punica granatum L.), grape skin (Vitis vinifera L.), apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) and a berry anthocyanin fraction, at a nominal 40:25:15:10:10 by weight; any ratio and any pairing of component assay levels is produced to a customer brief and certified on the lot CoA. Each component arrives with its own marker chemistry: grape seed at not less than 95% total proanthocyanidins by UV-Vis and not less than 75% oligomeric proanthocyanidins by HPLC, pomegranate rind carrying ellagic acid (CAS 476-66-4, C14H6O8, MW 302.19) and punicalagin (CAS 65995-63-3, C48H28O30, MW 1084.72), and grape skin and berry contributing anthocyanins measured against cyanidin-3-O-glucoside. The headline number needs reading carefully, and Thovek would rather explain it than let a buyer discover it at goods-in. Total polyphenols are reported by the Folin-Ciocalteu procedure as gallic acid equivalents (gallic acid CAS 149-91-7, C7H6O5, MW 170.12). Folin-Ciocalteu is a reducing-capacity assay, not a polyphenol-specific one: ascorbic acid, reducing sugars, sulphites and several amino acids all respond to the reagent, so a fruit premix carrying native or added vitamin C will read higher in GAE than its actual polyphenol content. For that reason the blend is released on composite testing of the finished powder rather than on arithmetic from the component certificates, and the CoA carries component-specific HPLC lines alongside the GAE figure - OPC for the grape seed fraction, ellagic acid for the pomegranate fraction and total anthocyanins by the pH-differential method for the coloured fractions. ORAC and similar in-vitro capacity figures can be supplied as supplementary data on request but are never offered as a release specification and should not be used to build a label. Two risk points and the origin statement. Grape seed extract is one of the documented adulteration targets in this trade, and the adulterant of record is peanut skin extract, which is an allergen substitution rather than a quality problem: every grape-derived lot is HPLC and TLC fingerprinted against authenticated grape seed material and a peanut-free statement is issued with the consignment. Sulphur dioxide is the second: grape and berry processing streams can carry it, and above 10 mg/kg it is a declarable allergen in the EU and UK, so the blend is made without added sulphites and SO2 is stated on the specification. The premix is vegan and vegetarian, with no bovine, porcine, marine or insect material and no milk, egg, fish, crustacean, mollusc, soy, tree nut, sesame, celery, mustard, lupin or gluten-bearing input; where a carrier is used it is maize-derived maltodextrin or gum acacia, named on the specification, because a wheat-derived maltodextrin would change the gluten declaration. This is a bulk ingredient and not a finished dosage form: the buyer sets dosage, format and all label claims and is responsible for the food-supplement rules of the destination market, including the fact that no general antioxidant health claim is authorised in the EU for these polyphenols. Default 40:25:15:10:10 grape seed, pomegranate rind, grape skin, apple and berry; any ratio and any pairing of component assay levels built to brief and printed on the CoA. Anthocyanin-forward, OPC-forward and ellagitannin-forward versions for colour, astringency or marker-led formulations. Water-dispersible spray-dried grade on maize maltodextrin or gum acacia for beverage lines, plus granulated, direct-compression and instantised versions. Organic (NPOP/NOP/EU), kosher and halal certification available. Single-fruit extracts are supplied separately and classify differently at customs.

Packaging: 25 kg net in food-grade fibre or HDPE drums with double food-grade LDPE liners, palletised and shrink-wrapped for export. Where the anthocyanin fraction is high the drums ship with light-proof liners and 1 kg and 5 kg trial quantities go into heat-sealed aluminium foil laminate pouches with desiccant. The powder is hygroscopic and astringent: keep sealed, open in a conditioned room and reseal immediately. Store below 25 C at not more than 60% relative humidity, away from light and moisture.
