An omega 3-6-9 product is a compounded oil blend, not a single ingredient, and the buyer's ratio decides what goes in it. The classical retail build is fish, flax and borage: a molecularly distilled fish body oil carrying EPA and DHA, cold-pressed flaxseed oil at around 55% alpha-linolenic acid for the plant omega-3 and a share of the linoleic acid, and borage seed oil standardised to 20-25% gamma-linolenic acid. Omega-9 comes from the oleic acid in the borage and flax fractions, usually topped up with high-oleic sunflower or olive oil. Commercial 1,200 to 1,300 mg fish-flax-borage softgels typically declare total omega-3 in the 400-450 mg per softgel region, with omega-6 and omega-9 each in the 90-100 mg region, so a three-softgel serving lands near 1,350 mg omega-3, 300 mg omega-6 and 265 mg omega-9. Thovek blends and fills to the buyer's recipe rather than pushing a house formula. A fish-free build replaces the marine fraction with algal oil for DHA plus flaxseed oil for ALA, and swaps borage for evening primrose oil (7-10% GLA) where the buyer prefers it, giving a fully vegan softgel. Fill weights of 1,000 mg, 1,200 mg and 1,300 mg are standard; oval and oblong shapes, clear or opaque shells, and printed shells are all available. The marine fraction is bought against the GOED voluntary monograph and tested on arrival, and the vegetable fractions against the Codex standard for named vegetable oils, so the finished blend carries oxidation numbers that hold through a long sea freight and a retail shelf. Allergen and origin declarations are the commercial risk in this category and are worth reading closely. Any build containing fish oil must declare FISH, and a fish gelatin softgel shell declares FISH even in an otherwise plant-only blend. A bovine gelatin shell makes the product non-vegetarian; only a vegetarian HPMC, tapioca or carrageenan shell paired with the fish-free oil phase yields a genuinely vegan softgel. Soy appears only if soybean oil or soy lecithin is specified, and can be excluded on request in favour of sunflower lecithin. There is no milk, egg, crustacean, gluten, peanut or tree nut input in any standard build. Each lot ships with a certificate of analysis giving the full fatty acid breakdown, peroxide and anisidine values, heavy metals, and a species and origin declaration for the marine and gelatin components.

Packaging: Bulk softgels in food-grade HDPE jars of 500 and 1,000 count, or in 25 kg and 50 kg poly-lined fibre drums with a double PE liner and silica gel desiccant, nitrogen flushed and heat sealed. Bulk oil blend in 190 kg epoxy-lined steel drums or 20 kg jerrycans under nitrogen. Retail bottling, induction sealing, labelling and cartoning available. Palletised and shrink-wrapped. Store below 25 C and 60% relative humidity; do not stack drums of softgels more than two high.
