Ashwagandha Stress Capsules

Thovek fills hard capsules with root extract of Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal, a Solanaceae shrub cultivated across Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat and known in Ayurveda as ashwagandha. Its characteristic constituents are the withanolides, a series of ergostane-type steroidal lactones of which withaferin A (C28H38O6, MW 470.6) was the first isolated. Every lot is standardised on total withanolides by HPLC — we hold 1.5%, 2.5% and 5.0% grades — and root-only material ships by default. Leaf-inclusive extract is quoted separately, because the withanolide profile and the permitted-part rules differ between root and leaf and the two should never be substituted silently on a specification sheet. The finished capsule is built to the buyer's brief. Standard fills are 300 mg or 500 mg of extract in a size 0 or size 00 shell, with rice flour or microcrystalline cellulose as diluent and a vegetable-source magnesium stearate or silicon dioxide flow aid. The default shell is HPMC, which keeps the whole capsule vegan and vegetarian; a bovine gelatin shell is available on written request, and the animal origin is then carried on the certificate of analysis and on the artwork. The fill contains no milk, egg, soy, fish, crustacean, gluten, peanut or tree-nut material, and allergen segregation is confirmed lot by lot. We supply bulk capsules in HDPE kegs for onward bottling, or fully packed and labelled under the buyer's brand. Thovek offers generic withanolide-standardised extract specified on its own chemistry; we are not a licensed distributor for any branded ashwagandha ingredient and make no claim of equivalence to or substitution for one. Withania somnifera is not on every country's permitted-botanical list for food supplements and some markets impose specific label warnings, so confirm national status before the first shipment. Permitted claims and label copy remain the brand owner's responsibility in the market of sale.
